The Cellar Bar & Grille

***UPDATE*** As you can see in my original review the ownership had read it and reached out to me regarding my experience asking me to contact them. I actually didn’t see the reply to my review until today, so I called them as they requested and spoke with the manager on duty Teresa. She was super nice and apologetic for my first experience. No excuses given, just apologized and thanked me for letting them know that my experience was subpar which is how it should be. They were also kind enough to make things right with me and I will be trying them out again. Very pleased with the follow up and excellent customer service when things didn’t go exactly right! Ordered a Cellar burger and the tater tots this time and the burger was fantastic!! Cooked to order and perfect medium well. Thick patty and fresh trimmings with a butter grilled bun. Simple but done perfectly!! Very very good. Tater tots are tater tots. Not much to say but they were crispy which is how I like mine and there was a bunch! Very satisfied with the meal! Made things right after the first time and knocked it out of the park on the second try. I really appreciate a business that does things this way and is willing to admit when a mistake is made. I will be going back and I suggest you give them a try as well. I ordered carry out so my star ratings for the service and atmosphere are based off limited exposure but the place seems nice and the staff were attentive and quick to take care of me. Very nice people. The problem with my experience was the food. I got the pastrami sandwich with sweet potato fries. It’s so frustrating because the bones of this food were really good and I feel like it could have been a great meal had it been done correctly. First off, the sandwich was missing half the ingredients, no slaw or thousand island dressing. The pastrami was pretty dry which was made worse because it was missing the above mentioned ingredients. The bread was tough around the edges as well. The fries tasted good but they were not fresh at all. Cold and stale but even with that they still tasted good. I can only imagine how good this sandwich would be if done fresh and with all the correct components. Just very disappointed in what could be a fantastic meal if more attention to detail and care had been given. Debating on whether to give this place a second chance. This was not a cheap sandwich either.

We had exceptional service! My drink was always full & the waiter was super friendly! I highly recommend the hot brown. The landscaping around this restaurant is amazing. This is easily a 5-star lunch & breakfast place, not sure if I’d choose it for dinner. Will come again!

I had the grilled chicken Caesar salad—it was decent. A bit heavy on the dressing, but nothing to complain about. Overall, it’s a solid spot for drinks and good company.

Fabulous pub. The outside looks fancy but the employees and guests all dress casual and the menu is standard pub fare. Excellent food and cocktails. I recommend the mahi mahi tacos with sweet potato fries.

I did not know about this place until I attended my best friends Birthday Brunch there! I loved it! From the decor, food and the service was great!! Our servers really made the experience even better!! The Chef/part owner even came out to check on us and made sure we were satisfied! The whole experience was great, and I will definitely be back!!

Every experience here has been wonderful, the staff seem polished and well-trained, even during late night visits under a skeleton crew. The food is always spot on and consistently meets expectations. But the atmosphere and vibe is what makes it all worth it! Together, all these things just result in a fantastic experience every visit.

Stopped in for brunch. The wait staff was great, friendly, and quick to get our orders in and out. It's all around a great place to eat.

Lexingtons premiere sports bar but with a little touch of class. Beautiful setting to catch a game. Plenty of selections on tap for beer lovers including some local favorites. Very impressive Bourbon selection. The food is very good as well- highly recommend the CBR fries along with the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Come here pretty regularly during football and basketball season and the staff is nothing short of spectacular. The wait staff in particular are always friendly and provide excellent service. I also appreciate that the restaurant and bathrooms are always very clean. This is a classy place without being uppity about it- genuinely a place that everyone can enjoy. I've never seen it too rowdy so I would say that it's also a family friendly sports bar- we have brought our daughter before and felt like the environment was appropriate. Great job, guys and gals.
